cXML Punchout Transaction is the flow defined in the cXML standard by which a procurement system such as Coupa, Jaggaer or Oracle iProcurement opens a session in a supplier's shop and gets the filled cart back. cXML (commerce eXtensible Markup Language) is an XML format Ariba published in 1999; the punchout consists of PunchOutSetupRequest, PunchOutSetupResponse and PunchOutOrderMessage. Our extension implements these messages in your shop.

The buyer sees your range with their terms and adds items to the cart.
Return via cXML
One click sends the cart with all order details back to the procurement system as a PunchOutOrderMessage.
Approval and ordering
The cart goes through approval and ordering in the procurement system. The order can come back to your shop via cXML Purchase Order.
The extension works in your shop backend: products, prices and units go back the way your customer's procurement system expects them.

Which procurement systems use cXML punchout?
cXML punchout is used by SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Oracle iProcurement, Unimarket and Proactis, among others. For SAP Ariba, orcamultimedia also offers a dedicated PunchOut plugin with Level 2.
Which shop systems is the extension available for?

Can I test my shop in advance?

How does it differ from SAP OCI?
cXML punchout and SAP OCI both bring the cart from your shop into your customer's procurement system. SAP OCI is mainly used by SAP SRM and SAP S/4HANA, cXML by SAP Ariba, Coupa and many other procurement systems.
