System-to-system communication with electronic documents saves time and money. The openTRANS interface builds your shop into your business processes: openTRANS orders arrive as XML documents and are created in your shop automatically.
openTRANS is an open XML standard for business documents between companies, such as the order (ORDER), order confirmation (ORDERRESPONSE), dispatch notification (DISPATCHNOTIFICATION) and invoice (INVOICE). It was developed by industrial and trading companies led by Fraunhofer IAO as a complement to the BMEcat catalog standard; the current version 2.1 dates from 2009. Our openTRANS interface exchanges these documents between your shop and your business partners' systems.

Can openTRANS be combined with SAP OCI?
openTRANS can be combined with SAP OCI: the buyer fills the cart in your shop via SAP OCI, and the order then arrives as an openTRANS ORDER. That way the process runs electronically from order to invoice and delivery.
Are there alternatives to openTRANS?
