Do your trade customers order through their trade software? With the IDS Connect interface the software opens your shop directly. Availability, stock levels and customer-specific prices are always current, and the cart goes back into the software.
IDS Connect (Integrierte Daten-Schnittstelle, integrated data interface) is the interface through which trade software opens a wholesaler's online shop, searches for products there, checks prices and availability and takes the cart into the software. ITEK GmbH developed it for the German trade associations BVBS, DG Haustechnik and ZVSHK; the current version is 2.5. Our extension connects your shop via IDS Connect 2.5.

Call from the software
The tradesperson opens your shop directly from their trade software. The login details are passed along.
Shopping
They see availability, stock levels and their customer-specific prices and add items to the cart.
Return to the software
The cart is handed over to the trade software with all product data.
Order to the shop
In the other direction, the software sends the customer's order requests to your shop.
Besides the cart, the interface supports product deep links and product search from within the software.

Can IDS Connect be combined with other interfaces?
IDS Connect can be combined with other interfaces: for customers who buy through SAP, the SAP OCI interface fits as well; for electronic orders, cXML Purchase Order.
