A punchout catalog is a supplier catalog that your customer opens straight from their procurement system and from which they transfer the cart into that system via SAP OCI or cXML. They are logged in automatically and find their products and prices there. We deliver your punchout catalog as a complete package, as a new catalog shop or based on your existing open-source shop.
A punchout catalog is an online shop that a procurement system opens in a session of its own and that returns the cart to that system via SAP OCI or cXML at the end. The name describes how the buyer briefly leaves (“punches out” of) the procurement system to shop; approval and ordering then continue there. We deliver the punchout catalog as a complete package based on an open-source shop system.

How does my shop become a punchout catalog?
A shop becomes a punchout catalog in one of three ways: with punchout.dev, a single script tag in the existing shop is enough, whatever the shop system. orcamultimedia's plugins, for SAP OCI or SAP Ariba for example, extend the existing shop system. In the complete package, the orcamultimedia team sets up the punchout catalog and connects it, as a new catalog shop or in the existing open-source shop such as Magento, Shopware, OXID eShop, WooCommerce or OroCommerce.
Which procurement systems support a punchout catalog?
A punchout catalog is supported by procurement systems that speak SAP OCI or cXML, including SAP SRM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer and Oracle iProcurement.
OCI or cXML: what is the difference?
SAP OCI and cXML both bring the cart from the punchout catalog into the customer's procurement system. SAP OCI is mainly used by SAP SRM and SAP S/4HANA, cXML by SAP Ariba, Coupa and many other procurement systems. orcamultimedia's punchout catalog supports both protocols. For SAP OCI it is built on orcamultimedia's own SAP OCI plugin and so also supports the additional OCI functions DOWNLOADJSON, BACKGROUND_SEARCH, DETAIL, VALIDATE and SOURCING.
